Lärmreduzierter Güterverkehr durch innovative Verbundstoff-Bremsklotzsohlen - LäGiV

The goal of the joint project LäGiV is the development of technically and economically optimized compound brake soles (V-BKS) for the employment in railway trucks for the noise reduction of the rail cargo traffic. A noise reduction of 10 dB(A) of the rolling noise is aimed at by the installation of the V-BKS, what corresponds to a subjective halving of the noise pollution. Constructing on the present state of the art new products (V-BKS) are to be developed and be tested according to the international regulations.
